Emily's Birthday Part 2

Last night we celebrated Emmy's birthday....again......:)
As of yesterday she is officially 4!
Grandma Nattress is still here with us and Grandma and Grandpa Padilla stopped by with aunt Sue and cousins!
She had a great time.

Emily's Birthday Part 1

For the last year I have been promising Emily she could have a birthday party with all of her friends for her 4th birthday. Since her actual birthday will be here only a week after having a new baby we decided to have her party early. She invited all the little girls from her dance class and primary class and the theme was "Strawberry Shortcake!" (Which is ironic because Emily doesn't like strawberries:) We played games, ate snacks, opened presents and had cake! A good time was had by all! I didn't do a good job taking pictures because I was too busy running the party but here are a few:

Sunday Report

Every Sunday during dinner we go around the table and ask everyone what they learned in class that day. Some reports are more interesting than others depending on the day and how well the kids were listening on that particular day. Last Sunday Emily gave the most unique report. It went a little something like this:

Dad: "Emily, what did you learn about in Primary today?"
Emily: "Jesus."
Dad: "What about Jesus?"
Emily: "When Jesus blessed the children."
Dad: "Oh yeah? Tell me the story."
Emily: "Well, Jesus came and was blessing the children. Then the big bad wolf came and was going to blow everyone's houses down but Jesus saved everyone!"
Dad: "...............ok................."

(Note to self: Nor more reading The Three Little Pigs during sacrament meeting.)
